Universitas Persada Indonesia Y.A.I Participates in St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) 2026

Saint Petersburg, Russia – Universitas Persada Indonesia Y.A.I (UPI Y.A.I) participated in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) 2026, one of the world's leading international economic and business forums, held from 3–6 June 2026 in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

Organized annually by the Roscongress Foundation, SPIEF serves as a strategic platform that brings together government leaders, policymakers, academics, business executives, and international organizations to discuss global economic trends, innovation, sustainable development, education, and human capital development.

UPI Y.A.I’s participation reflects the university’s commitment to strengthening international engagement and expanding global academic partnerships. The opportunity also highlights the strong relationship that has been established between UPI Y.A.I and the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Indonesia, Sputnik Media, and the Russian House Jakarta through various academic, cultural, and educational initiatives.

Representing UPI Y.A.I at SPIEF 2026 was Dr. Choirul Anwar, Ak., MBA., MAFIS, Director of International Affairs, who attended as the university’s official delegate. During the forum, discussions focused on several strategic issues, including Indonesia’s economic resilience amid global challenges, the role of higher education in developing globally competitive human resources, and the importance of preparing future-ready talent for the global economy.

As a multidisciplinary institution with strengths in business, psychology, engineering, and communication studies, UPI Y.A.I recognizes the critical role of higher education in equipping graduates with the knowledge, skills, and adaptability required in an increasingly interconnected world.
